I have no reason what action could have triggered this new behavior. Yesterday, I tried to login and I have seen this error. I never had issues with this, not in 6.5 and not in 6.7. I am running ESXi 6.7 and VCA 6.7 (both with latest patches). The "! unable to login" error comes regardless if I use the correct or wrong credentials. I have checked the error.log file, those errors do only show up recently because in the past, I never had issues to log into the webinterface. 14:31:48: (/build/mts/release/bora-7927448/studio/src/vami/apps/lighttpd/1.4.45/src/mod_proxy.c.523) no proxy-handler found for: /rest/appliance/system/version 14:31:48: (/build/mts/release/bora-7927448/studio/src/vami/apps/lighttpd/1.4.45/src/mod_proxy.c.1041) establishing connection failed: Connection refused When I access the URL, the following logs show up: That details the yaml file contents if you want to find out more.Tail -f /opt/vmware/var/log/lighttpd/error.log You can also add filters via the AGH interface but i'm lazy and just mass update mine via the yaml file. ![]() Filters are a personal preference and limited by how much memory your router has. I believe my filter list is around somewhere. As long as your dnsmasq config id's match its fine. That config binds AGH to 192.168.1.1 and serves DNS on localhost, 192.168.1.1 and ipv6 ::1Īs for the dnsmasq it is just down to the individual router configs. Its currently filed as an improvement for the 108 version i believe) bind_host: 192.168.1.1 There is an issue in for that to be selectable so you can deselect WAN interfaces. (That means if your WAN interface is up you will have DNS listening there. It either lets you select a single interface or ALL interfaces. What are the reasons for this?īy default AGH in its setup asks you what interfaces to bind to. from the ones suggested by directnupe (dhcp. I can also see that your settings for dnmasq use different index (dhcp. Which entries in the yaml file do you suggest to tweak after AGH configuration in its GUI? ![]() Missing from my script is ipv6 as my ISP still doesn't support it so you need to potentially edit those entries if your ISP properly supports it. # Restart network + dnsmasq service to reflect changes Uci add_list _option='3,192.168.1.1' #DHCP option 3: default router or last resort gateway for this interface Uci set set set set add_list _option='6,192.168.1.1' # DHCP option 6: which DNS (Domain Name Server) to include in the IP configuration for name resolution Opkg install sudo ca-certificates ca-bundle curl wget tar unzip libustream-mbedtls libustream-openssl libwolfssl libustream-wolfssl ![]() And then u have to tweak the listen addresses via the yaml file. You have to pull and install AGH, then move DNSMasq, then configure AGH (and thus take over DNS). I did similar to you in that i disabled ISP DNS upstream then moved DNSMasq. Do you advise moving DNSMASQ to port 5353 before AGH installation I ran into a bit of a problem when trying to setup AGH. I am going to follow your guidance and attempt the setup you have advised.
